Elysia's first harvest

Every year we grow strawberries, blackberries, tomatoes etc, and we never see them because Elysia picks them off the plant and eats them there and then. No sharing!

This year, we decided to give her her own vegetable plot to grow her own. Although she eats more veg than the average 7 year, It was hoped it would encourage her to eat some, that she doesn't like.

We planted peas, tomatoes, and lettuce (that she likes) and also, runner beans, onions, and peppers that she doesn't. Here is a photo of her first bean harvest. I hope you don't mind me showing you - she is so proud!

Card creations

I used My Minds Eye, summer papers for this card, which came free with a Card Magazine (can't remember which one). I have used Guipure lace to trim (from Dunelm). I did quite like the fact it didn't have too much going on, but looking at it now, it needs something at the corners of the white cardstock.

p.s Apologies for the funny camera angle, it looked ok while I was taking it. In too much of a rush as usual. :o)

This card is made with Papermania Rose Garden papers, which I bought yesterday (funnily enough I wanted some wallpaper similar to this for Elysia's bedroom but couldn't find any!). I have used my new Martha Stewart Punch on pink glitter cardstock to give it some sparkle.

Haven't I been busy...

This is this morning's activity. I think I'm all Tilda'd out now! :o)

I did get a bit carried away, but luckily I remembered to save one of the images to scan onto the computer for future use (Thankyou ladies from M.S.E). I just need to make up a few cards now.

I wanted to use my new Bo Bunny papers today, and so I came up with this. It's for my Mum and Stepdad's 20th Wedding Anniversary next month. I'm sorry it's yet another Tilda, but as I'm new to stamping, it's the only image I have at the moment. This is also my first easel card (well, my version). :o)

This mornings activity (while the kids were still in bed). Ahh peace and quiet! :o)

Here are my attempts fom this morning. I have used Bo Bunny papers in the red/pink ones and K&Company wedding papers on the blue/lilac. The images are Tilda Magnolia. I purchased the stamped images from ebay because I didn't know how much use I would get from purchasing the stamp. I received Promarkers from my Mum for my birthday and now I might be addicted to stamping! I have used glossy accents to shoes, eyes and dew drops on the flowers. Everything else is from my stash (origins unknown LOL).
